Callenge
Payroll and reporting placed a substantial burden on MOCC’s Controller, Adam Burrows. Each week, 12–16 hours were spent reconciling ADP Run’s disconnected time-tracking module, performing manual prevailing wage adjustments, and generating certified payroll reports. These processes were inefficient, error-prone, and left limited time for financial planning. With Sage Intacct adoption underway, MOCC also needed a system that would integrate smoothly with ERP data.
Solution
MOCC implemented Trayd, a payroll and compliance platform designed for construction and specialty contractors. Key capabilities included:
Automated prevailing wage calculations and overrides
Ease of use for project based field employees
Certified payroll reporting generated instantly and accurately
Real-time labor visibility by project and cost code
Flexible payroll runs to support weekly pay cycles (removed bi-weekly)
ERP-ready data for a seamless transition to Sage Intacct

Results
The impact of Trayd was immediate and measurable:
Weekly payroll workload reduced from 12–16 hours to under 2 hours
Certified payroll reports produced automatically, minimizing compliance risk
Real-time labor data improved oversight of job costs
Consolidated back-office system prepared MOCC for future ERP integration
