Trayd Raises a $10M Series A

I'm proud to announce Trayd's $10M Series A led by White Star Capital, with continued support from Suffolk Technologies and Y Combinator, and a new partnership with RXR. 

This funding allows us to scale what we’ve been building for the last 3.5 years: a modern back office platform for specialty contractors. 

I grew up watching my dad handle the manual, repetitive chaos of the construction back office. Fast forward 20+ years, not much has changed for a $2T industry. 

That’s the problem we set out to solve.

Today, Trayd powers payroll, compliance, and workforce management for specialty contractors - replacing spreadsheets, paper time cards, and fragmented systems with a single platform built specifically for construction teams. 

And it's working:

• Payroll that used to take 14 hours a week now takes 27 minutes

• Crews are moving off paper time cards once and for all

• Back office teams are taking their first real vacations in years

With this new capital we can go bigger: expand nationally, keep building for our customers, and deliver the level of service this industry deserves.
